Looking Back On Favorite Mentor Texts

Today we looked back at some of our favorite mentor texts. We used "I Ain't Gonna Paint No More" to learn about persuasive essays. "Charlie Needs A Cloak" helped us when we were learning about how-to writing. The book "Milk To Ice Cream" was used to learn about using sequential words. "Rocket Writes A Story" was inspiration to many of us as we thought about what to write about. We are having so much fun reflecting, reminiscing and celebrating our writing growth.
