Geography in the Kindergarten

We read "Me on the Map" today to help us accomplish the following "I can" statements:

I can find me on a map.

I can describe and identify a map or globe.

I can tell my address.

We explored some maps starting with South Hero and expanding all the way to the world. Then we started individual books. On the  cover is our house. Open it once for our street, twice for South Hero, and a third time for Vermont.
