Counting Strategies

Today we learned how to get organized when counting larger numbers. We learned about two different counting strategies: 

1) Count and scoot

2) Count and touch

After learning about these strategies we gave them a try with a partner and then on our own!

Comparing Numbers

We had three sets of cards to sort, numerals, 10 frames, and quantity cards. It was so much fun, with a whole lot of learning going on. 

Holidays Around The World

We started our new unit today, "holidays around the world." After an exploration of our own traditions we created suitcases for our upcoming exploration of different holidays.
