Look out, we are learning about persuasive Writing and can be very convincing, in this piece the writer is trying to get us more recess time. 

Pattern Power

Counting on . . . . We practiced counting on from a given number with this fast paced game. Partner one picks a number card and puts that amount of cubes in the cup. Partner two picks a card, gets the correct amount of cubes and counts on from the first number to find the total wuquantity. 

We had such a busy day today. We achieved bronze in the VT Rise program which meant a demonstration lesson on the sugars in soda - yuck! Then we had an early lunch and headed off to the Flynn Theater. Great way to return from break!
