100th Day Of School!!!

We had so much fun today celebrating the 100th day of school. We participated in a number of fun projects including making crowns, necklaces and placemats. We went on a Hershey kiss hunt and wrapped it up with a special snack.

Sing-A-Long

We had our third lock-down practice of the year this week and our kids were awesome! To me a lock-down is necessary to ensure student safety, but also disheartening. I guess I am a bubble-wrap kind of teacher and it bothers me that events in the world make it necessary for me to explain to my kids that we must practice for an unsafe event. However, this lock/down was heartwarming. It happened as we were leaving music class and the fifth and sixth graders were entering. The "big" kids were such great models and so supportive of our kids, making them feel safe and calm. When we got the "all-clear" Ms. Kauffeld brought everybody together for a fun sing-a-long. Great job everyone ❤️

Space Man

We have a new writing tool that helps us remember to put space between our words. His name is "space man" and with his help our writing is more readable!
