This was our last group hug! We had a lot of group hugs this year and it is one of the things I will miss about spending  my day with this group of kids! Thanks for such a great year!

Reading Workshop

We are going through our browsing boxes to pick 4 "just-right-books" to send over to first grade. It was very exciting to learn that some of our favorites will be waiting for us when we get there!

Bike Rodeo at Folsom

We participated in a bike rodeo today with Sheriff Allen, where we learned and then practiced rules of the road as well as general bike safety. I love the look of concentration on the riders faces as they navigate those cones. 

Publication Party

We read our narratives to the third and fourth graders this morning as part of our publication celebration. To get to this point we have worked really hard writing, editing and drafting.
